Assignment I (Individual)
Course Learning Outcomes:
CLO1: Analyse the ethics and professionalism of safety and protection on children’s learning, development and behaviour (C3, PLO1)
1. For this individual assignment, you are requested to do a thorough review from varieties of resources (textbooks, journal articles, proceeding/conferences/seminars/forums papers, online documents etc.) on ethics and professionalism related safety and protection of children in educational settings.
2. Critically analyse the role of ethics and professionalism in safeguarding young children’s learning, development, and behaviour. Support your discussion with at least two relevant examples.
3. Prepare a slide presentation of not more than 10 slides to summarise your assignment.
Refer to the rubric provided to assist you in completing your assignment.

Note:
Your assignment should be typed using 12 point Times New Roman font and 1.5 line spacing.
Your assignment should be between 3500 to 4500 words excluding references. Do not copy the assignment question and instructions to your answer. Only assignment answer developed within the approximate word limit will be assessed. The number of words should be shown at the end of your assignment.
Your assignment must be submitted between 30th June – 04th July 2025. Submission after 04th July 2025 will NOT be accepted.
