CHEM1012 Fundamentals of Chemistry 1B
A laboratory report communicates the important work you have done in the lab. It is a comprehensive account such that someone who was not there can understand and replicate your results. It also outlines the importance of the work by stating the problem it aims to address as well as proposing future studies or alterations to advance research in this field.
With respect to the lab report structure, full details can be found in the marking rubric below. In your results section, include your data tables capturing the concentrations and times of your reactions recorded in the lab. Be sure to include captions and units where needed. Include graphs you used to determine the rate laws and activation energy (Ea) - ensure they are also appropriately labelled and caption. Your calculations should be included in your results and analysis section of your report. You DO NOT need to mention or discuss the Chemistry React-off Challenge in your report - there are no marks associated with it.
